Average days on market for homes for sale in Galveston is right out there at an average of 133! Absorption rate is close to 14 months (how long it would take at current rate of selling to sell out all active listings). This is definitely a buyer’s market. Another way to tell is the discount to asking price achieved by buyers… they’re getting almost 6% off the price.
So… if you want to get yourself that weekend home at the beach… now is the time to go out and shop, you should be able to get yourself a phenomenal deal!
